Terenna’s Analysis

LeGarrette is a powerful runner who hits the hole quick.  He is very athletic for someone who is 241 lbs.  He doesn’t have break away speed, but he is very quick in the 10 yard and has great cutting ability.  He breaks many tackles and can wear down defenders.  He had a very good per carry average during his junior year and did well in the senior bowl.  He does have character issues, which were evident when he punched a Boise State player in the head.  I think that he is moved past his issues and will be a steal in the 6th round.  Even though we could get buy without drafting a running back, I don’t see how we can pass on him if he falls.  I like Toby Gerhart a lot better (who is a similar back), but the difference is that he will go in the second round.  LeGarrette will be a steal of the draft.

Score: Production 9(only one yea r though) Athleticism: 9  Game tape Analysis: 10
