Key one:

Vick needs to play to the level that he did against the Packers – Despite his occasional inaccurate throw, he had a 66.7% completion percentage, which is great.  He sparked the offense vs. the Packers with his running ability and rocket passes and finished the game with a QB rating of 101.9.  The Lions are not known for their defense and Vick should be able to put up some points.

Key Two:

Don’t let Shawn Hill get into a rhythm– Like the Eagles, the Lions will have to start their backup QB because of injury.  Vick is much better than Shaun Hill though.  Hill finished the Lions first game with a 38.9 QB rating.  As long as we keep pressure on him and limit the easy pass, the Lions will have little offense.

Key Three:

Prevent the big run out of Jahvid Best – The Bears completely shut down Best in the running game only allowing him 20 yards on 14 carries for a 1.4 yard average.  His longest run was for 8 yards.  Best is a play-maker, and if we can limit him like the Bears did, the Eagles will win.
